What is the point?
Some people have asked me what is the point of this blog, someone even posted a review saying this blog was not going anywhere unless we picked a specific niche. Well, that is exactly why me and my friend decided to open this blog, to be able to write about everything. Of course, we do want to make money with this blog, who doesn’t? But our goal, since the first day, was not to post about one single thing, but to write about what we want and like.
We do not really care about these opinions, we have learned a lot about blogging during the month this blog has been up and we have achieved all our goals so far (design, traffic, number of posts, technorati, advertising) and we even made a little cash with advertising.
That’s it, hellcola is not turning into a specific niche anytime soon, we’ll keep it as a general blog, or as a mess blog, call it whatever you want lol
I agree with you. I changed my blog’s focus from internet trends to anything trends. I stay in the top three in my category on Entrecard without even trying. The only thing I have to figure out is how to make some moola off it - I am an American after all. BTW , love the name
I totally agree. My blog doesn’t have a specific niche either, yet despite what the naysayers say, it keeps growing. Just post good content frequently and take care of your readership. Your blog WILL go places.
