   These were some good games - I remember when Nintendo first got into the home video game console market back in 1985. Back then we had Atari and Intellivision for home systems, but Nintendo quickly took over the market because they could produce their consoles quickly and relatively cheaply, and they were able to make lots of games, some of which were of a better quality than what was available at the time.

   I still have my old 8-bit Nintendo system, along with many of the cartridges for it that I used to play. I was especially fond of the Koei series of games (Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Genghis Khan, Nobunaga’s Ambition, etc.) and played them extensively throughout the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. Eventually we replaced the Nintendo 8-bit system with the Sega Genesis and later the Sony Playstation. Today I don’t mess around with consoles much anymore; now I’m into PC games, mostly strategy and RPG genres.

   Hi,

   some of these old 8-bit systems were good, i especially loved the commodore 64, and to this day still have one.
