Making money with CraigsList

Craigslist is one of the most accessed sites of the United States, millions of people visit it every day and some people are making thousands out of it. It’s a powerful marketing machine, imagine if you could reach thousands of people for free, you can. Most people don’t succeed on CraigsList at their first time (like me) because they are lazy and they don’t target their customer correctly.

I’ll be giving away 3 methods to make money from CraigsList on the following weeks, sign up for our RSS feed if you want to know whey they are posted. They all involve affiliate programs but they are very easy to apply, anyone can do it.

See you soon!

My budget is not limited, so don’t worry about it, you can contact me via e-mail (check advertising area) or via digitalpoint, my username is killianbr.

All offers are welcomed, hope to hear from you soon!

HellCola’s traffic stats!

HellCola is now 9 months old and here’s our traffic statistics for the last 6 months!

And we have been receiving a constant number of 200 visitors daily for the pas months, I think these are very good results, since all of our traffic is natural and it comes mainly from search engines!

Facebook for the dead

A new network is being launched, but it’s not something like MySpace or Facebook or Orkut, it’s made for dead people. Families will be able to create profiles for their relatives who passed away by adding information, pictures, creating a time line to show what that person did while he/she was alive.

It could be something nice, to remember those who aren’t here anymore, but unless there is a good control of it, it will become a complete joke, people creating profiles to make fun, or to try to take advantage.

The website I’m talking about is FootNote, you can check it at http://go.footnote.com/pages/

The LHC conspiracy

The LHC conspiracy is pure bullshit, it’s even a joke that it could create a black hole that could destroy the whole planet, this project is not new, it has been planned for over 6 years before it was really started. For the ones who are not even aware of what LHC is supposed to do, what scientists are doing is trying to create something similar to the Big Bang, an empty space with just some small particles who might collide, they are forcing this collision, by making the particles to go around the LHC eleven thousand times per second, that is, 11 * 127Km (LHC’s longitudinal distance) per second. The first collisions are supposed to happen in two months from now, after the particles collide, the study of how the first parts of the universe were created will be developed.

It won’t tell us the origin of the universe because the font of power that was used on the real Big Bang is unknown, and on the LHC, we are using simple electric power to force the collisions.

Alexa is weird

Alexa ranking is known for being the best traffic ranker on the internet, but not to hellcola.com, our position on Alexa has decreased over 40% on the past 3 months, but our traffic during this period has been constant.

You can see it here:

Alexa counts junk traffic, so it’s not really hard to have a good position on it. I will be implementing traffic techniques, so that it gets some more real traffic and gets a good ranking, not just a good number and a lot of garbage traffic. See you soon!

The FireFox Car

It appeared this week in Thailand, obviously, it’s not from Mozilla FireFoz developpers, just some nerd who really loves it. Anyway, it is an actual good marketing technique, if you have a domain that is easy to remember, putting it in your car could get you some visits.

Anyway, here’s the picture of the “FireFox Car”

(searching for a google one lol)

Google launches its Internet Browser

It took a while for Google to make another move and try to steal Microsoft’s market, but there it is, Google has now launched Google Chrome, a web browser which seems promising, it will certainly take a long time (if ever) for it to get both Internet Explorer and Firefox users, but well, it is Google :P

Google Chrome has lots of features, and even with that, it is a light software, unlike IE and FF. The design is pretty nice, as you can see here;

I won’t change my FF into something I barely know about, I want to try Chrome, but it’s new and certainly can’t beat firefox YET, time will tell what google is planning to once again, be at the top on the market.
